Utilizing its strong relationships with leading global chemical manufacturers and outstanding expertise, the Lubricants Division of Hanwa acts as a solutions provider to help its customers, both in and outside Japan, to secure stable supplies of essential lubricant raw materials.
For over 30 years, as the Japanese distributor of INEOS Oligomers (Switzerland), we have served oil and gas companies, chemical makers, and companies in a wide variety of other industries, by helping them to secure stable supplies of synthetic fluids such as PAO and PIB and by supporting their product development efforts.
Taking full advantage of our more than 60 overseas bases, we are also developing a global logistics system that involves bulk trading to connect countries all over the world, seeking optimal raw materials, and product export and distribution support.
Flowing on from its lubricant-related business, Hanwa also engages in trading organic and inorganic chemicals, such as urea, melamine, and hydrogen peroxide, as well as oleochemicals, such as vegetable oils and their derivatives. In a wide range of different industries, including automobiles, resins, rubber/elastomers, building materials, adhesives, paints, and cosmetics, we also support manufacturing from the perspective of specialty chemicals, and we offer business development solutions that lead to growth opportunities.
Furthermore, to respond to the growing market concern for environmental protection, we are actively working to help shape a more sustainable society through better use of materials, by supporting the development of new materials to promote energy-saving, carbon neutrality, biomass use, and biodegradability, by investing in environment-friendly technologies like AdBlue®, and by supporting the production of recyclable raw materials.
