「ISCC PLUS認証」取得のお知らせ / Notice Concerning Acquiring ISCC PLUS Certification

2023年9月27日付にて「国際持続可能性カーボン認証」制度の１つである「ISCC PLUS認証」を取得したことをお知らせいたします。

 

当社は脱炭素社会の実現を目指すべくバイオマス製品、リサイクル関連商品の取り扱いを 拡大する方針のもと、これらの認証を活用して需要家からの社会的ニーズを満たす事業活動を進めて参ります。

 

化学品においてもサスティナビリティへの取り組みが急速に進む中で、バイオマス由来、プラスチック由来、タイヤ由来のケミカルを総合的に扱う商社としてISCC plus認証の取得により、更に積極的な展開が可能となりました。今後も持続可能な国際社会の実現に貢献すべく、幅広い環境配慮型製品の提供に取り組んでまいります。

 

  ※ ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) 認証とは 持続可能性および炭素に関するグローバルなサプライチェーンにおいて、持続可能な原料であることをマスバランス方式などを用いて管理・担保するための世界初の国際認証制度で、「ISCC EU認証」はEU市場内のバイオ燃料を対象範囲とし、「ISCC PLUS認証」はEU市場以外も含めたマスバランス方式で製造されたバイオマス原料や再生原料等の製品も対象範囲としています。

Hanwa Co., Ltd(“Hanwa”) has obtained International Sustainability & Carbon Certification with both ISCC PLUS (as of September 27, 2023) and ISCC EU (as of December 2022).

 

Hanwa will promote business activities that meet the social needs of customers with these certifications, in line with our policy of expanding the handling of biomass products and recycled products aiming to realize a decarbonized society. 

 

As a trading company that comprehensively handles biomass-derived, plastic-derived, and tire-derived chemicals, the acquisition of ISCC plus certification has enabled us to further expand our business activities in the rapidly advancing sustainability initiatives in the chemical sector. * ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) is an international certification system utilizing such as mass balance.to manage and ensure sustainable feedstocks in the sustainable and global supply chain. ISCC EU covers biofuels in the EU market, ISCC PLUS covers bio-based and recycled feedstock products using the mass balance approach outside the EU market.
